I just want to be a pumpkin…
I had so many great ideas for Halloween costumes this year.
O wasn’t having it.
What do you want to be then? I asked.
A pumpkin. She says.
Really? How about Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz?

Or Olivia?
no.
I want to be a pumpkin.
And she will not be dissuaded. Not that I mind. I think it’s cute she has made a decision and is sticking with it.
Etsy to my rescue since I have neither the time nor the sewing machine or even the talent to whip up this seemingly probably fairly simple to make costume.

So M is wearing her father’s pumpkin costume he wore when he was one. Mom in law is super handy with a needle and thread.

Now I just gotta figure out what we are going to do on Halloween.
