Making the Switch
Since I’m boycotting Target right now, I’ve found myself shopping at Whole Foods for all the things I would normally get at Target. Toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, toothpaste, detergent, sponges, and on and on. Thankfully one positive about Target is their increased supply of environmentally friendly and natural products. And thankfully I’ve already made the switch to more green products already. But now, I’m finding myself making a bigger switch and trying to commit to a more green lifestyle. Doing that within budget is pretty tough though. I mean, a natural product is great, until you find yourself considering spending $25 on deodorant:

For real.
I didn’t buy this kind. But I did consider it. It WAS ON SALE!
So yes, part of the switch includes a move towards natural deodorant.
Since my pits are sweating as I type and I’m faintly aware of a possible odor developing I’m re-considering my natural deodorant choice. Hence, google researching the best kinds. And I happened upon this article. My current natural deodorant is nowhere on the list.
Oh well. Must try again. And now that $25 deodorant is looking pretty good. And hey, apparently Martha Stewart loves it. So it must be good right?
Damn you Whole Foods. Only you could make me pine after something that gets applied to my arm pits.
